Artist: Irena Jablonski

LIGHT SOURCE

In this portrait, artist Irena Jablonski used a simple triangular design to add structure. The subject’s arms are proportionate to his body and placed to deliberately draw the viewer’s eyes from the young man’s face and down his arm to the hand that rests on his foot. The hands are positioned relative to one another so that the viewer follows them upward toward the knee, and continues to move up to the bent arm. The eyes then naturally move up toward the shoulder and back to the face.
